Holiday Service Announcement

The holiday season is upon us and with it comes several holiday hazards which can spell trouble for our pets.

Reduced holiday hours as well as an increase in Covid cases associated with the Omicron strain will cause a reduction in the availability of veterinary care should an emergency arise.

Please help keep your pets safe by preventing their access to the following hazards:

  • Ornaments
  • Tinsel
  • Ribbon
  • Toxic plants such as , holly, mistletoe and pine needles
  • Chocolate, fatty foods and bones
  • Marijuana
  • Keep pets leashed when outdoors and safe from vehicles and snowmobiles

Other resources:

Keeping your pets safe during the holidays is key, but should an emergency arise please contact Ottawa Emergency Hospital at 613- 725-1182 or Eagleson Veterinary clinic at 613-383-8381.

Our clinic will be closed from December 25 to December 28, returning on December 29th from 8-5 pm.

We wish you all a very merry holiday season!

Dear Clients,

We remain open through COVID-19 with protocols in place to protect our clients & our staff.

We can now see all cases by appointment only. Our veterinarians are also available for telemedicine consultations. If you are uncertain if your pet requires an essential service, please call our office, and we will be happy to discuss each individual case.

Effective December 30, 2021, we are operating with a 'closed door' policy:
